Ingredients
  

To spread over

  • 300 grams ground beef %15-%20 fat
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 medium tomato chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper chopped
  • 1.5 green bell pepper chopped
  • A handful parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp water
  • ½ tbsp tomato paste
  • ½ tbsp red sweet pepper paste
  • 2 tbsp sunflower or olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp red sweet pepper powder
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ¼ tsp red chili flakes

Lahmacun Dough

  • 2.5 cups flour
  • 1 cup water lukewarm
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp sugar

Instructions
 

To spread over

  • In order to prepare ingredients to spread over, basically you can use a food processor or a blender. Due to reservoir of your machine and better texture, it is good to not add ground beef in the beginning.
  • If you don't have a food processor, you can also chop the ingredients and bring them together in a large bowl. After you mix well, you should add ground beef into the bowl and knead with your hands (Using latex gloves may be helpful).
  • Try to get a bit runny consistency with your mixture. This rate may vary depending on the vegetables and ground beef you use. If not, you can add some more water or oil as your wish.
  • After you complete the mixture with ground beef, you can cover it leave to rest into the fridge until you prepare the dough.

Dough

  • Grab a large bowl, add water, sugar and salt. Mix until the salt and sugar dissolve.
  • Start add the flour slowly and in the same time continue mix with your hand.
  • Knead until you have a medium hard dough. You can add extra flour or water in case of need.
  • Seperate your dough into small equal pieces (like your palm hand size). These are going to be each portions of your Turkish pizza.
  • Cover your dough pieces with a clean cloth, leave to rest for about 1 hour-or less.
  • Heat your oven to 200 degrees~ 400F.
  • After that, grab a roller, spread some flour and start stretch your dough pieces. You should stretch as thin as possible you can.
  • When portions are ready, spread your mixture with a spoon or hand over your dough. If you don't have a really big oven, probably you can cook 1 of it in the same time. Cook until the base is little cruncy and brown. (approx. 7-8 min each)
  • Remove cooked one from the oven with a spatula and place the new, cook all of the portions.
  • Collect them on a serving board, decorate with vegetables or salad and serve hot and nicely.
